Here’s what you can expect, according to Rollin’ with Hunger’s Facebook site:

-A whole lotta fun!
-The opportunity to walk away knowing you contributed to something that is a growing issue in the world AND on our home turf

Let everyone know you’re coming here.

Encore on Colfax will close Sunday

April 21, 2012

Encore, the restaurant with the sweet patio in the Lowenstein development on Colfax and Elizabeth, is calling it quits after Sunday brunch.

Sibling owners Paul and Aileen Reilly blame a break-down in long-term lease negotiations with the complex’s owner and developer Charlie Woolley of the St. Charles Town Co.

Although history tells us there are two sides to every story, Woolley told me he was not at liberty to discuss the situation.

“We’ve got lawyers, and I can’t talk about it,” he said.

While it’s apparent that the two parties couldn’t reach an amicable agreement, the Reillys said in a statement that they’ve “been working with Mark Thomas of Sanborn and Company to locate an additional location.

“Denver is a great restaurant town and we are confident we will find a location that fits Encore,” according to the statement. So perhaps those popular pepper poppers will find a new home.
