Del Frisco’s cigar dinner joins smokes and steaks

Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse (8100 E. Orchard Road, www.delfriscos.com) is holding a cigar dinner starting at 6 p.m. Nov. 16.

Cigar roller Edel Gomez, owner of Sanchez Gomez Cigars will be there for an intimate Woodford Reserve and El Toty Cigar DinnerEnjoy cigars, small batch bourbon with passed appetizers and a three-course dinner accompanied with live music.

Indulge in shrimp tempura, ahi tuna croquets and mini crab cakes for appetizers, a seasonal fall salad, a prime 16-ounce ribeye served with truffle mac and cheese and haricot verts with lemon beurre blanc and top it off with butterscotch Napoleon.

Each course will be paired with a selection of Woodford Reserve small batch bourbons. Savor three different El Toty cigars and take home a cigar rolled by Gomez himself. ($145 per person). Seating is limited. For reservations, call 303-796-0100.
