Regal Entertainment Group, a leading motion picture exhibitor owning and operating the largest theater circuit in the United States, has announced the opening of the new Regal Premium Experience at the UA Colorado Mills Stadium 16. The all-digital giant screen is installed in an existing auditorium and now showing “The Martian.”

RPX presents movies the way filmmakers intended with powerful, uncompressed surround sound and bright eye-popping images in 2D and RealD 3D. Guests will enjoy the custom-built premium environment featuring luxurious seats with high-back headrests. A giant immersive screen is illuminated by high-quality digital projectors and completed with a state-of-the-art sound system.

Audio engineers individually design each RPX location to provide an enhanced experience in sight and sound.The Regal Premium Experience at Colorado Mills will include a massive screen stretching more than 52 feet wide.The brightest, clearest images possible are delivered to the screen by a 33,000 lumen digital projector with enhanced RealD 3D XL technology.
The 47,000 watt digital audio system will surround moviegoers in a specially designed 7.1 speaker array providing pinpoint, uncompressed audio. This powerful sound system incorporates 37 different loudspeaker components including state of the art surround speakers, five line-array channels behind the screen, and four horn-loaded subwoofers for deep resonating bass
Moviegoers can program their favorite theater and purchase tickets all from their mobile device. The Regal app also gives patrons the ability to upload their Regal Crown Club card straight to their phone for easy access while on-the-go.
