Republic of Tea hosting a pop-up party at Belmar Whole Foods

October 2, 2015

The Republic of Tea, leading purveyor of premium teas, is announcing its first-ever pop-up tea shop at Whole Foods Market’s Belmar location in Lakewood from Friday through Sunday. The Republic of Tea’s entire collection of 300 premium teas and herbs will be available for purchase. Shoppers are invited explore the catalog, sip, and learn more about The Republic of Tea brand, which embodies the “Sip by Sip, Rather than Gulp By Gulp” lifestyle.

The Republic of Tea’s pop-up tea shop at the Belmar Whole Foods Market will be framed by a display of specialty tea tins, with flavors ranging from the new Sonoma Teas collection (made from fine wine grape skins) and buzz-worthy HiCAF tea line, to classics including Ginger Peach Black Tea and The People’s Green Tea, as well as festive holiday varieties. The Republic of Tea’s Ministers will be available to guide guests through the numerous premium tea offerings, while steeping teapots of featured teas for shoppers to sip and savor. The Republic of Tea’s featured teas, as well as select sipware, will be available for purchase. A special gift with purchase will be given away during pop-up shop hours.

“Whole Foods Market is thrilled to be partnering with The Republic of Tea on this venture,” said David McCormick, grocery coordinator for Whole Foods Market, Rocky Mountain Region. “We feel it is our responsibility to showcase amazing suppliers committed to responsible sourcing like The Republic of Tea. They have so many wonderful teas to offer, and we are grateful to have this opportunity to share them with our customers. From tea enthusiasts, to those just a bit curious about tea, we’ll have something special for everyone.”

The Ministers of The Republic of Tea will be on-site at the Belmar Whole Foods Market from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Whole Foods Market Belmar is located at 444 S. Wadsworth Blvd. www.wholefoodsmarket.com/stores/belmar. The Republic of Tea will have three additional pop-up shops in Colorado, with dates to be determined, at Whole Foods Market’s locations in South Denver (Tamarac), Southglenn and Boulder (Pearl Street).
