Get your noodle on at Osaka Ramen Cherry Creek

August 3, 2015

Jeff Osaka, the talented chef who first brought Denver the restaurant Twelve, opened his second Osaka Ramen in Cherry Creek North  at 2817 E. Third Ave. in Cherry Creek. This ramen spot comes on the heel of the success of the first location in RiNo at 2611 Walnut St.

On his Facebook page, Osaka asked fans where they would like to see the next Osaka Ramen to locate. From a selfish point of view, I implored him to consider Capitol Hill, but Osaka doesn’t want to compete with Bones, super chef Frank Bonanno’s place on Seventh and Grant.

The 1,880 square-foot Cherry Creek space was formerly the home of Ay Caramba. Like its sister location that opened in May, there are five signature ramen bowls: shio, tonkotsu, shoy, tantanmen and a vegetarian version of Thai green curry with coconut milk.

Osaka Ramen Cherry Creek is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. More information at www.osakaramendenver.com.
