Baur’s adds lunch to the menu

June 24, 2015

The new Baur’s Restaurant and Listening Lounge, which opened in April by Chef/Proprietor Dory Ford, has started serving lunch with a special “15/15” lunch menu launching. The new lunch menu provides guests a quick meal for $15 targeting the busy downtown work crowd with the goal of getting guests in and out in 15 minutes. The meal includes a protein, salad, pasta, a vegetable, a side dish and a beverage. Guests can enjoy lunch at the restaurant or take it to go.

“We want to provide the perfect meal for the busy downtown Denver lunch crowd who is looking to enjoy a seasonal and fresh yet quick meal in the middle of the day,” Ford said. “Lunch will be served at a performance station, giving our lunch service a unique twist.”

Baur’s Restaurant and Listening Lounge will also offer a lunch menu for guests who prefer to order off the menu, which includes small starters like asparagus fries and lobster deviled eggs, as well as soups, salads, sandwiches and pastas including items like the BLAMTE sandwich with crisp shaved bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato, fresh mozzarella and a fried egg; a lobster club; Dory’s ½ lb. burger which includes natural beef, bacon, white cheddar, gem lettuce, an onion ring, avocado, tomato dill relish and dijonnnaise and gnocchi and porcini gratin, to name a few.

Baur’s Restaurant and Listening Lounge is located at 1512 Curtis St. The restaurant is open for lunch Monday through Friday, serves brunch on Saturday and Sunday, and is open for happy hour, dinner and a late night menu seven days a week. The restaurant houses the one-of-a-kind Listening Lounge, an acoustic music venue, as well as a private dining room, private dining spaces and a large bar serving craft cocktails, beers and wines.

Baur’s Listening Lounge has several musicians lined up including Louisiana-based band The Revelers at 8 p.m. Sunday and Montreal-based artist Leif Vollebekk at 7 p.m. July 5. For information on additional upcoming shows, visit www.baursmagic.com.
