Say ole! Sandoval hosts cookbook release party

Chef Richard Sandoval will host a cookbook release party from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 18 at La Biblioteca (next to Zengo at 1610 Little Raven St.). In the new cookbook, “New Latin Flavors,” Sandoval has taken the familiar flavors of his childhood in Mexico City and put his own spin on them to share with guests in his restaurants around the world.

The cost for this culinary event is $75 and includes:

• A signed copy of “New Latin Flavors”, drinks, unlimited appetizers, and a $25 gift card for your next visit to any Richard Sandoval restaurant.
• Meet-and-greet with Sandoval.
• Appetizers include crispy shrimp, ahi tuna ceviche Nikkei, and Thai chicken empanadas.
