It’s not as catchy as “Football on your phone,” the DirecTV commercial that the Manning brothers (Peyton and Eli), shot last year on the streets of New Orleans.
But the new TV spot, “Fantasy Football Fantasy” promoting DirecTV’s new fantasy football channel, again starring the brother QBs, takes their burgeoning rap career to a different (imaginary) place.
The brothers Manning are shot on a (duh!) football field, while chanting the chorus, “Fantasy, fantasy, football fantasy”. The scantily clad female dancers add a touch of eye candy to the piece.
Making cameo appearances are dad, Archie Manning, “Broadway Joe” Namath and Jets running back Chris Johnson’s dreadlocks.
It’s all in good fun, if you can take the leap into believing that white good ole’ Southern boys can rap.
