Jewish food festival on Sunday features hummus contest

Sunday’s Jewish Food Festival at the Robert E. Loup Jewish Community Center, 350 Dahlia St., is the intersection of food, sustainability and Jewish life.

The event, produced by Hazon and the Jewish Community Center, takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Ticket holders will be treated to cooking demonstrations, food tastings, DIY activities, a local vendor marketplace, food trucks, a hummus contest and a free pre-festival breakfast at Ekar Farm.

Tickets are $20 for general admission, $10 ages 8 to 17 or those with a student ID. Children under 8 are admitted for free. Tickets: www.hazon.org/food-festival-colorado.
