Santa and his elves have set a flight plan for the city of Wheat Ridge for the second annual Holiday Celebration on Ridge at 38 from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Festivities will take place on West 38th Avenue between Upham and Reed Streets.
The city, Wheat Ridge 2020 and presenting sponsor Exempla Lutheran Medical Center invite the community to celebrate the season with an afternoon and evening of old traditions and new events.
Events include photos with Santa and his elves; live holiday music; free horse-drawn carriage rides; free hot chocolate, cider and cookies; s’mores by the Right Coast Pizza bonfire; holiday crafts and activities for the kids; live holiday carolers; a trackless train with free rides for kids; business specials from Ridge at 38 merchants; a pop-up artisans market and a holiday storefront display contest.
