Opus has left Littleton; will reopen in Cherry Creek

After a 10-year run, Opus Littleton, at one time considered one of the area’s top restaurants, left its Littleton space Sunday to move in with sister eatery Aria in Cherry Creek North. The new operation at 250 Josephine, which is slated to open for dinner on Thursday, will be renamed Opus Restaurant and Aria Wine Bar

The Opus menu will be served in the dining room and small plates will be offered in the Wine Bar part of the space.

“The Opus space needed a considerable investment to continue business,” said Trisha Lindeman, spokeswoman. “We decided our money would be better spent in Cherry Creek.”

Opus’ executive chef Sean McGaughey will take over the new menus out of one kitchen. Construction to redesign the interior should begin within the next few weeks.

Gift certificates and on-line promotions at Opus will be honored at the new space. Reservations: 303-377-4012.
