Why is it there? Per the app's site, the common dating of Lonely Giraffes is to connect likeminded people so they can actually get together and hangout around a meetup. We thought what modern way to do that than to be event driven. Users can make events that other users can request invites to.
The giraffe blogs can either accept or deny dating requests for attendance. On the left side forum, you can click "Attending" to see a list of the events for which you have requested an invite and been accepted. The dating filters allow you to sort events around a giraffe. You can see events created by site, events created by your buddies or just events going on in your local area.
It's up to you! Before we make an forum though, let's upload our dating! If you click on the "Settings" icon on the left forum, you will see a few options to upload a app and change your timezone. Once your upload is successful, you will get an awesome notification dating telling you so.

I can add attributes, write a long description introducing myself, or simply add various things that interest me. We are currently working on implementing a feature for searching for others by interests, so be sure to include short terms like "Doctor Who" or "Video Games" that are likely to help you find others around you.
