Drybar in Cherry Creek North will ‘blow you away’

November 13, 2015

Drybar, a salon that offers blow-dries only, will open its first Colorado location Nov. 20 at 3290 E. First Ave. in Cherry Creek North.

Drybar’s concept: “No cuts. No color. Just blowouts” has captivated a legion of loyal clients nationwide.

Drybar will open in time for the busy holiday season in Cherry Creek’s new Steele Creek luxury development. This 1,800 square foot location will consist of 12 styling chairs, including a VIP room for private parties. The store will employ more than 35 stylists.

“We are so thrilled to finally have the opportunity to bring Drybar to the beautiful Rocky Mountains,” said Alli Webb, founder of Drybar. “To have our first Denver location in the heart of Cherry Creek, along side some of the city’s best shops, restaurants and art galleries, is just so exciting. We look forward to being a part of such a dynamic community.”

Drybar provides professional blowouts at a flat price of $40, regardless of hair length or thickness (wash included!). The list of styles reads like a cocktail menu: the Cosmo (lots of loose curls), the Straight Up (straight with a little body), the Southern Comfort (big hair, lots of volume), the Mai Tai (messy and beachy), the Manhattan (sleek and smooth) the Dirty Martini (tousled and textured) and for the little ladies, the Shirley Temple at $28.

The Cherry Creek shop will feature Drybar’s signature design, including custom Italian chairs, tufted fabric walls, marble bars with built-in phone docking stations and flat screens featuring chick flicks.

Denver Drybar Operating Partner Misty Halaby is opening the Cherry Creek store. Halaby – who spent the last 15 years in media sales here in Denver – has been passionate about bringing the concept to town since she first visited Drybar in New York City in December 2013.

“From the moment that I walked into Drybar in New York, I realized that it is an incredible concept and one that was missing here in Denver,” Halaby said.  “Something as simple as getting your hair done can be an incredible confidence booster and I want to share that happiness with other women.”

Founded by longtime stylist Webb, Drybar has become a regular stop for celebs such as Julia Roberts, Cindy Crawford, Jennifer Garner, Chrissy Teigen, Zooey Deschanel, Emma Roberts, Renee Zellweger, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Miley Cyrus and Maria Shriver.

Drybar also offers a full line of professional hair styling products and tools. The brand launched exclusively with Sephora in March of 2013, and is now in all 319 U.S. Sephora locations, including at Cherry Creek Shopping Center and Park Meadows mall.

Appointments can be booked online at www.thedrybar.com, through the Drybar iPhone app or by calling 303-242-3513.
