Bring your four-legged friends for a doggone good time during Woof Fest, a benefit concert for PetAid Colorado, from noon to 6 p.m. Aug. 17 at Denver’s Civic Center Park.
Dog owners and can bring man’s (or woman’s) best friend for a day in the park with local bands, brews and food.
Woof Fest will feature diverse local music acts across two stages ranging from reggae to rock to classical-pop fusion. Between the two stages will be a pup’s paradise with pet-friendly activities and an off-leash play area and dog pools to keep canines cool in the August heat.
General admission is free, and there will be local beer vendors, food trucks and merchandise available for purchase. Attendees also can purchase advance VIP tickets for $100 ($150 the day of the show). VIPs will have access to mingle with the bands and fellow pet lovers in private shaded areas near both stages as well as access to complimentary food and beverage and a Woof Fest commemorative T-shirt.
The band lineup includes P-Nuckle, Nina Storey, Digital Pocket, Digg, Spinphony, and Soul X. Proceeds from the event benefit PetAid Colorado, the healthcare safety net for at-risk pets due to their owner’s circumstances. PetAid Colorado provides services to thousands of pets every year through four programs: PetAid Animal Hospital, PetAid Care Grants, PetAid Disaster Services and PetAid Home Outreach.
