Vino vixen Kendra Anderson is having a busy spring. The well-loved wine and event management consultant (with service offerings now under the auspices of her SwirlGirl Enterprises brand) for such swell places as PastaVino in Boulder, where she was wine director, is on sabbatical from her gig as Westword wine blogger (aka SwirlGirl). But that doesn’t mean she stopped sharing her thoughts on Denver’s food scene.
Kendra has been writing Denver-centric articles for Wine & Spirits editor (and former Denver Post wine writer) Tara Q. Thomas. The most recent piece was a quick run-down of restaurants with her favorite wine programs.
And now that the hit wine doc “SOMM” is available on Netflix, go back and read the advanced sommelier’s article on the take-home message of the film, which is that becoming a master sommelier is intense.
Finally, if you don’t mind immediate thirst and serious pangs of hunger all day long, be sure to follow Kendra on Instagram or Twitter. Her photos, descriptions, and wine reviews, as she takes in the best Denver has to offer, will feed your soul.
What’s your go-to spot for food and drink, this spring?
