To celebrate the launch of “The Peanuts Movie,” in theaters Friday, a family-friendly holiday experience is being offered at Cherry Creek Shopping Center from Friday through Dec. 24.
Developed in partnership with 20th Century Fox, the iconic Peanuts characters will take center stage within interactive Ice Palaces. The indoor holiday displays will feature a 30-foot dome complete with falling snow, a light show and other activities for the entire family.
“We are excited to continue our tradition of aligning with fun, family-oriented films in association with our Ice Palace. The partnership between The Peanuts Movie and our Ice Palace is sure to be an entertaining experience for all ages,” said Dave Dixon, Cherry Creek Shopping Center’s marketing and sponsorship director.
In addition, kids can watch special scenes from the new movie, create and compare their icy handprint alongside Snoopy and Woodstock, have their photo taken with a life-size graphic of Snoopy and his dog house and much more. Cherry Creek Shopping Center also will offer the opportunity for families to visit with Santa Claus as part of the Ice Palace experience. Those who visit Santa will receive a complimentary gift.
The Peanuts Ice Palace, located in the Kaiser Permanente Grand Court within the shopping center, will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays, as well as during all extended center hours throughout the holiday season.
