When celebrated chef Max MacKissock first announced his next venture Bar Dough in LoHi, I thought the former Squeaky Bean chef was opening another pizza place. Sure, there’s pizza on the menu, but there’s so much more.
More as in pasta dishes, grilled half chicken, a 20-ounce ribeye, scampi, meatballs, olives and salads. The menu, which is oh so Italian, includes a handy glossary of terms for those of us who need it.
The newly opened restaurant is a partnership between Juan and Katie Padro (Highland Tap & Burger) and MacKissock.
