Six organizations and one individual will be honored for excellence in business by the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce at its annual Business Awards today at the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum.
The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce 2015 Business Awards attracts hundreds of business and community leaders to meet those who are writing Denver’s next chapter on economic vitality and business success.
All winners will be announced live at the event. Finalists include:
- Risas Dental and Braces, P2Binvestor and TRELORA for Start-Up Business of the Year, sponsored by the Denver Metro Small Business Development Center.
- Footers Catering, LEI Companies, Inc. and Special Aerospace Services for Small Business of the Year, sponsored by First Data.
- 5 Star Talent and Entertainment, Inc., Mission Yogurt, Inc. and Syntes Language Group, Inc. for Minority or Woman-owned Business of the Year, sponsored by Xcel Energy.
- Denver Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Echo Concepts, Inc. and Serendipity Catering for Green Business of the Year, sponsored by The WhiteWave Foods Company.
- Angels of America’s Fallen, Family Promise of Greater Denver and We Don’t Waste for Small Nonprofit Organization of the Year, sponsored by Sam’s Club.
- Bayaud Enterprises, Inc., Metro Caring and Urban Peak for Large Nonprofit Organization of the Year, sponsored by Optimum Networking.
The Chamber will also award the David E. Bailey Small Business Advocate Award, sponsored by Wells Fargo, to an individual who assists entrepreneurs and small businesses.
