Foxx added to charity fashion show star-studded lineup

Oscar and Grammy Award winner Jamie Foxx will join the roster of celebrities at the Global Down Syndrome Foundation’s Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show, beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Sheraton Downtown Denver Hotel, 1550 Court Place.

This is the largest single fundraiser benefiting people with Down syndrome. The event features silent auction items,  live auction items, a sumptuous dinner, two Quincy Jones Exceptional Advocacy Award winners, an ambassador video, and an inspirational fashion show featuring models with Down syndrome and celebrity escorts.

In addition to Foxx, Emmy winner Alec Baldwin, Oscar and Emmy winner Helen Hunt, Oscar nominee Laura Dern, award-winning actor John C. McGinley, supermodel Beverly Johnson, Nuggets players Kenneth Faried, JaVale McGee and Arron Afflalo, Broncos players Britton Colquitt, Ben Garland, Malik Jackson and Brandon McManus, pro golfer David Duval, and self-advocates Steven Dulcie, Brad Hennefer and DeOndra Dixon will escort Down syndrome models on the runway.
