Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, at 7301 S. Santa Fe Drive in Littleton, is presenting tributes to recently departed greats Joan Rivers and Lauren Bacall Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets for all screenings and events are on sale at www.drafthouse.com/denver/littleton, and all proceeds will be donated to charity.
Here’s the lineup:
* Saturday – Joan Rivers Tribute. “Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work” at 4:45 p.m., “Spaceballs” at 7. Local female comics will pay homage to Rivers with comedy sets before each show. Proceeds will go to God’s Love We Deliver, Rivers’ favorite nonprofit.
* Sunday – Lauren Bacall Tribute. “To Have and Have Not” on 35mm film at 7 p.m. Proceeds will be donated to a charity to be determined.
Alamo Drafthouse will present two tribute nights this weekend to Lauren Bacall, above, and Joan Rivers, below.
