Popular country music singer and Grammy Award-nominee Trace Adkins will headline this year’s Western Fantasy, a boffo benefit for Volunteers of America, on Oct. 18 at the National Western Events Center.
Adkins, a singer, actor and author, has sold more than 10 million albums, and is a member of Grand Ole Opry. As the winner of NBC’s “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice,” he raised more than $1.5 million for the Wounded Warrior Project and the American Red Cross.
Western Fantasy was co-founded 21 in 1994 by Sharon Magness Blake and Jean Galloway. The gala is the signature fundraiser for Volunteers of America’s programs aimed to assist our most vulnerable neighbors. This year’s event chairs are Sarah Sena and David Alexander.
