The sixth annual Cherry Creek North Food & Wine festival celebrates the diverse tastes from more than 20 of Cherry Creek North’s food and beverage establishments from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday (5 p.m. entrance for VIPs) at Fillmore Plaza between First and Second avenues on Fillmore Street.
The evening also features a variety of Robert Mondavi wines, Crafthouse cocktails and Stella Artois beer. Tickets are on sale now and include food, beverages, and live music. A portion of proceeds supports the Cherry Creek Arts Festival’s 501c3 nonprofit year-round and statewide education programs. Advance tickets are strongly recommended. Walk-up tickets are available beginning 11 a.m. Saturday at the event’s information and ticket tent located at Second Avenue and Fillmore Street.

A panel of media judges will select honorees for “Best in Show” for food and dessert categories, “Best Culinary Presentation” and “Best Table Decor.” The honor of “2014 People’s Choice Award” will be a digital vote this year. Guests can snap a photo of their favorite dish; tag @5280Spotlight and #SipSavorCCN; then include the restaurant’s name.
Fans who aren’t able to attend the event can vote, as well as all the guests at the event. Winners for all awards will be announced at 8:30 p.m., Saturday. Judges for the 2014 event include: Jayne Buck, Visit Denver; Ashley Hughes, Eater Denver; Brittani Moreno, CBS4; Lori Midson, local food writer and Geoff Van Dyke, 5280 Magazine.
