Married couple Erika Thomas and Chad Stutz pulled up their stakes in New York City and have staked out a space at 215 S. Holly to make and share their passion: premium ice cream using primo ingredients.
The first High Point Creamery — what the couple hopes to grow to five more stores in and around Denver — held an official grand opening Thursday where neighbors and invited guests were encouraged to taste their fill of the many-flavored frozen concoctions.
Can’t decide between basil with blackberry swirl; chocolate orange with marshmallows or lemongrass, ginger and coconut milk? Nine bucks will buy you a flight of five ice creams plus a cup of hot fudge.
