NEW CEO AT BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS: Amid an overhaul of top leadership, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado said Friday that it has selected sales veteran Dave Ryan as chief executive. Ryan has worked at Denver-based CiviCore, which provides technology services for nonprofits, since 2007, most recently as chief operating officer and vice president of sales. He takes over as CEO and president of BBBS on Jan. 7.

DANIELS FUND BEHIND NEW BOOK: Wounded military personnel recovering in hospitals across the Rocky Mountain region will soon receive a book containing heartfelt letters of gratitude thanking them for their service from a group of college students. “We hope that the members of our military find strength and inspiration in discovering how these young Americans feel about them, and what these young people intend to do with the precious gift of freedom secured for them by the men and women in our armed forces,” said Linda Childears, president and CEO of the Daniels Fund.
