Celebrity couple Giuliana and Bill Rancic, who have been public about their inability to conceive a child, told the Today show this morning that they are expecting their first baby this summer.
The Rancics credited famed Colorado fertility specialist Dr. William Schoolcraft for finding the couple a “gestational carrier” to take the pregnancy to full term. A gestational carrier is impregnated wtih a couple’s fertilized embryo and carries and delivers the baby.
In Giuliana’s case, it was decided she was not a good candidate for air jordan 7 pregnancy due to the breast cancer treatment drugs she’s taking. Giuliana was diagnosed with early stages of breast cancer in October as she was preparing to undergo fertility treatments.
During an interview with Ann Curry on the Today show Monday, Curry joked that the Rancics have a “baby mama”. Giuliana said that’s what she affectionately calls the woman who’s carrying the Rancics child.
