Sage Restaurant Group eateries thinking pink (drinks) to support local breast cancer charity

Sage Restaurant Group’s Second Home Kitchen + Bar, Kachina Southwestern Grill,  and The Corner Office Restaurant + Martini Bar invite guests to “drink pink” throughout the month of October in recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Sage Restaurant Group will donate one dollar from every specialty pink cocktail to Sense of Security, a local breast cancer charity. Sense of Security pays monthly bills for Coloradans in active treatment for breast cancer; assists with housing, food, utilities, transportation, insurance or COBRA premiums, or other basic living expenses and is the only organization in Colorado to provide ongoing financial support for breast cancer patients throughout treatment.

Since its inception in 2000, Sense of Security has provided more than $1.6 million in direct financial assistance to more than 1,100 Coloradans receiving treatment.

Sage Restaurant’s pink cocktails are offered as follows:

Kachina Southwestern Gril, 10600 Westminster Blvd.:

The Prickly Pixie – Cazadores Tequila Reposado, prickly pear puree, triple sec, and lime – $8.

Second Home Kitchen + Bar, 150 Clayton Lane:

The Creek Cure – Grey Goose Cherry Vodka, lime juice, simple syrup, cranberry juice, and a splash of brandy-infused cherry juice – $9.

The Corner Office Restaurant + Martini Bar, 1401 Curtis St.:

The Other Woman – Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Lillet Rose, strawberry, and lemon – $10.
