Those looking for employment this summer need to look no further than Elitch Gardens, which plans to hire more than 1,000 more employees for its 2015 season. On Saturday, Elitch Gardens will hold a job fair from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the park to interview for various positions. Candidates must complete an online application prior to attending.
Hiring and training has begun and remaining team member positions are anticipated to fill fast. With just one month until the park opens on May 2, more than 15 departments are looking for candidates with a variety of skill sets and experience. Immediate opportunities are available in maintenance, food service, park services, ride operations and retail. Other opportunities are available in aquatics, guest services, security and safety.
“Without a doubt, Elitch Gardens is one of the best summer jobs around,” said Director of Human Resources Rachel Shapiro, “giving employees the opportunity to get outside and have fun while making money. Now that’s a summer job anyone would love.”

For the 1,500 total employees the park will hire this season, 2015 will be one of the best years to join the Elitch Gardens team. The park will be celebrating its 125th birthday as the new season begins and recently announced its new ride, a six-story Hydro-Beast named SlideZilla, set to open in the Water Park at the end of May. Between all the rides, slides, and entertainment, with more concerts, more Dive-In Movies and two all-new family shows this year, Elitch Gardens is the place to be.
