Dream home raffle benefits Children’s Hospital Colorado

April 1, 2015

The Mighty Millions Raffle, the largest charity raffle in Colorado, with proceeds benefiting Children’s Hospital Colorado, features the grand prize of a $1.6 million custom-built home located at 1124 S. St. Paul St. in Denver’s Cory-Merrill neighborhood.

The 5,275 square-foot, two-story home will be awarded fully furnished and custom decorated and comes with $650,000 bonus cash.  The Showhome will be open for public viewing starting April 11.

Only 100,000 tickets will be available for purchase with expected net proceeds of more than $1.6 million for Children’s Colorado. The funds raised will support Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Children’s Fund.  The Children’s Fund is comprised of unrestricted contributions used for Children’s Colorado’s greatest needs, allowing the hospital to improve the care offered to every child who walks through the doors. Children’s Colorado served nearly 220,000 children last year and expects to see even more kids and teens in the years to come.

“We’re excited about the opportunity to present this innovative fundraising initiative to the community,” said Steve Winesett, president and CEO of Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation. “The public will have an opportunity to help raise much-needed funds for the patients and families that depend on Children’s Colorado for expert medical care, all while earning a chance at an incredible array of prizes.”

More than 5,000 total prizes will be awarded including luxury vehicles, worldwide vacations, season tickets to professional sports teams, electronics and leisure prizes. Odds of winning a prize are 1 in 20 and prizes valued greater than $5,000 come with bonus cash to help cover taxes.

One lucky winner who purchases tickets before the early bird deadline of midnight on May 21 will win the all-new BMW i8 Hybrid Supercar, plus $60,000 bonus cash. The grand prize drawing will be held on June 23.

Tickets are on sale now at mightymillionsraffle.com or at 1-844-514-2126 at a cost of $100 each, three for $250, five for $375.
