Southlands Shopping Center in Aurora announces the grand opening of H&M, one of the world’s largest fashion retailers, at noon Thursday. The new 21,000-square-foot store will feature women’s, men’s and children’s apparel as well as accessories, shoes and cosmetics.
Established in Sweden in 1947, H&M is one of the world’s largest fashion retailers with a mission to offer fashion and quality at the best price including its designer collaborations and quick-to-market versions of runway fashions. H&M features a wide range of styles, from basics to update to clothes that reflect the latest international trends.
Jeff Nemec, Southlands’ general manager noted, “The opening of H&M at Southlands is exciting as we continue to recruit top retailers to complement our existing store mix and to better serve our customers and community at large.”
H&M will open at Southlands with much fanfare. Beyond Thursday’s grand opening, there are planned festivities and giveaways through Sunday.
Noon Thursday:
* First 200 people in line receive scratch cards worth between $10 – $300 value and a goodie bag.
* $10 off and $5 off coupons given throughout opening day to customers entering H&M Southlands, while supplies last.
* Live DJ.
Noon Friday:
* One hundred $50 H&M gift cards given away each day at noon. While supplies last.
* Bring H&M receipts totaling $75 or more, dated Oct. 23 – 26 from Southlands H&M to H&M reception area (near Southlands fire pit) between noon and 6 p.m. and receive a free Southlands gift bag with a $20 Southlands gift card, H&M 20 percent off a single item purchase, a free gift and exclusive offers from Southlands retailers and restaurants, while supplies last.
