Who is that masked man or woman? Uncover the truth at The Mask Project exhibit

September 29, 2014

The Mask Project, The Denver Hospice’s flagship fundraising event is in full display at the Cherry Creek Shopping Center. The mask art exhibit, “An Unconventional Art Exhibit – The Mask Project 2014″, helps raise funds for critical services provided to terminally-ill patients and their families.

The Mask Project was founded in 1998 to capture the imagination of Coloradans through art. The auction features custom created masks by celebrities, sports figures, politicians, artists, and recognized members of the community.

Since its inception, The Mask Project has generated $4.5 million for hospice and palliative care for The Denver Hospice. The almost 600 masks gallery is available for viewing in Grand Court at Cherry Creek Shopping Center until Oct. 5. More than one million people are expected to view the gallery. Every mask is for sale beginning at $70 and available for bidding at www.biddingforgood/themaskproject.

“Over the past 18 years, The Mask Project has grown into a fabulous art exhibit viewed worldwide,” said Bev Sloan, CEO of The Denver Hospice. “We thank all our wonderful donors for their generosity in creating nearly 600 wonderful masks this year. Every mask purchased helps a patient and family in need at end of life.”
